A Little About Me

Hello, my name is Michelle Taylor and I am the owner and operator of Taylored Home LLC. I was born and raised in Northern Michigan an remember, as a very young child, I found joy in picking up hundreds of “helicopters” (maple seeds) from the rock landscaping in our yard to make it look clean and organized again. As a family of 5, Saturday was house cleaning day. My mother was a Surgical Tech and EMT so cleaning even meant soaking and scrubbing our hairbrushes. I loved the way our small home looked and felt when we were done.

After high school, I served 4 years in the Navy and learned even more about attention to detail and how to fit my life belongings into a very small rack on board a ship. Shortly after the Navy, I earned my BA in Sociology from the University of Illinois at Chicago. Upon graduating, I packed my bags for Germany and served in the Army as a Commissioned Officer.

My career in civilian terms translated to supply and logistics. I realized the most rewarding aspects of Managing were training and coaching, and organizing and streamlining the physical and operational state of warehouses, manufacturing floors, and processes. I decided to bring that passion to profession.

I have cleaned and organized spaces for many years and courageously I will say I enjoy every minute of it! It is very gratifying to transform a space and create comfort for my clients, or render a child speechless with their new room. My mission is to provide flexible, reliable services to our community and build lasting relationships with our clients.
